Your fit, not a size chart

Every Notch Above piece can be adjusted to your body. If you're between sizes, want a longer hem, or need a dress that works through pregnancy and nursing, we'll make it for you.

Every garment is made to order in our Hyderabad studio, so a custom fit isn't an afterthought. It's part of how we work. A piece that fits well gets worn more and lasts longer.

What we can adjust

Bust, waist and hips

Between sizes, or want a slightly more relaxed or fitted feel? We'll adjust any of these measurements. You can change just one: choose size S with a 36" bust, and only the bust changes. The waist and hips stay true to size S.

Length

A little shorter or longer to suit your height. Larger increases in length use more fabric and may cost extra, so please message us before ordering.

Maternity and nursing

We can add discreet feeding zips to many of our designs, so your favourite pieces work through pregnancy, nursing and beyond.

How it works

1. Choose your size
Pick the standard size closest to your measurements. Not sure? Message us and we'll show you how to measure yourself.

2. Tell us what to change
Add your measurements in the order notes at checkout, for example "Bust 36 inches, length +2 inches." Please give your body measurements, not the garment measurements you want.

3. We make it for you
Our team adjusts the pattern to your measurements while keeping the design's shape and proportions. Your piece is ready to ship within 3–4 days.

How long does a custom order take?
Custom pieces are made and ready to ship within 3–4 days, plus delivery time.

I live outside India. Can I still order a custom piece?
Yes. We regularly work with customers abroad over WhatsApp, Instagram or email.

Can I visit in person?
If you're in Hyderabad, you're welcome to visit our studio by appointment. Message us to book a time.

Good to know

Customized pieces are made only for you, so they can't be exchanged or returned.
Cash on Delivery isn't available for customized orders.
If we make a mistake in your measurements or the design, email shop@notchabove.in right away and we'll fix it.
